Nordic Africa Institute
The Nordic Africa Institute awards scholarships to Nordic countries through various types of grants.i. Travel scholarship programme (30 – 40 scholars are awarded scholarships and grants)
ii. Study scholarship programme – This scholarship targets teachers and journalists.
iii. The scholarship for PhD candidates – This kind of scholarship is intended to the individuals wishing to persue PhD programmes and wishes to carry out research clusters.
iv. The Nordic guest researchers' programme- intended to researchers in the Nordic countries and given scholarship for a maximum stay of two months.

Was established to aid needy and deserving youth with limited financial resources in Africa and to those with outstanding academic excellence and wishes to advance.
The scholarship is based on academic merit, whereby 1000 students will be awarded scholarships and grants.student awarded scholarship will received up to 10,000 dollars a year for 3 years (30,000 dollars)
